“Lovely cabin! But the deck, the view, the silence… were the winners! It just needed a lake to call it Walden. The kitchen could use some renovations. And the shower needs to be fixed, but overall lovely stay. One thing to be aware of, the surrounding areas before reaching the property are very unkept and destroyed. The games provided were fun too! We recommend it!”

The views of the uncrowded and peaceful lake and deck are outstanding. Our Host Mark gave us a through understanding of all the interesting and delicious wine and port he is creating on the Rock Stream property. “We absolutely loved this place and the owners! Very clean, accommodating and comfortable . Located in a perfect secluded and peaceful area by the tiny Lamoka lake, yet conveniently close to the Watkins Glen and the greater lakes. Perfect for relaxation and star gazing! The owners go above and beyond to make sure that you have everything you need and are satisfied with your stay. We will definitely visit again! ”

“Wine and Roses is a very cute house. It is on the small size, but that was fine with us. There is a master bedroom with a small bathroom (handicap bars in the shower!). The two other bedrooms are a nice size. The hall bath is small, but more than adequate. This is an older home with older furnishings. A few of the sofas and chairs were covered. "Booked a room here when running the Wegmans half marathon. It was only 17 minute drive to the finish line, which is also where the buses pick you up in the morning, so it was a perfect location. Was very pleased with the cleanliness of the property. Floors, furniture, bedding, and towels were all new and modern. Room was spacious with high ceilings and good climate control in the room. Breakfast in the morning was enjoyed by our kids (we didn’t eat before the race but the kids did). Staff was kind enough to let us check out late at 12 noon so that we had time to shower after the race. Would highly recommend this property."
